Bali’s New Tourism Levy of 2024

TourismBali, the enchanting “Island of Gods”, captivates travelers with its vibrant cultural heritage and breathtaking natural landscapes. The Provincial Government of Bali is taking proactive measures to preserve this cultural legacy and promote environmental as well as tourism sustainability.

In a positive step forward promoting healthy tourism growth, the implementation of a Rp.150,000 Tourism Levy per person began on the 14th of February 2024. This initiative aims to optimize and enhance the overall tourism experience in Bali.

Visitors can conveniently pay the Bali Tourism Levy upon arrival at the airport or even before their arrival using the user-friendly Love Bali Website or the Love Bali App which is highly recommend for a quick and smooth arrival process. Simply enter your:

  • Passport Number
  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Arrival Date

The payment can be made seamlessly using Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Virtual Account,or QRIS. Once the payment is received and processed, you will receive a QR Code, which then you will need to present at the checkpoint upon your arrival at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The Rp.150,000 Tourism Fee applies to both children and adults willing to enter Bali with a tourist visa. Exceptions include KITAS, and other long-stay permit holders, Domestic Indonesian Travelers, Travelers on Diplomatic and Official Visas, Crew Member of Transportation Vessels, Golden Visa holders, and other temporary or long-stay Visa holders. However, these individuals will need to apply for an exemption via the Love Bali App for at least 1 Month before their visit to Bali, and the Local Tourism Board will make a decision on their application within 5 working days.
